Mock interviewsOn 7th July we had the pleasure of welcoming eighteen employers into school  to conduct mock interviews with our Year 10 & 12 students. The employers represented organisations such Liverpool Football Club, Aintree Hospital and HMRC. ReeceReece, a student in Year 10, is currently training to take part in the World Crossfit Championships.

Radio MerseysideStudents from the Chamber Choir were invited to BBC Radio Merseyside to take part in their historic Sergeant Pepper live broadcast on Thursday 1st June. The BBC played a recording of the choir singing ‘She’s Leaving Home’ and the three students; Faye Griffiths, Louise Stanton and Eva Carrol spoke about their love of the music and the college upcoming performance of Sergeant Pepper in July.  […]

Manchester Actors

Manchester ActorsYear 10 students were able to watch an abridged performance of ‘An Inspector Calls’ this morning, Thursday the 9th March, performed by Adam, Cat, Gavin and Nathan from the Manchester Actors Company. At the end the students were able to question the actors interpretation of the novel by J B Priestley.

STEM dayOn 17th February ten of our Year 10 students participated in a STEM Activity Day at Ernst & Young Liverpool. Charity Football

Charity FootballThree separate football matches took place on Wednesday 21st December between staff and students to boost the funds for our Christmas charities. Boys in Years 9, 10 and 11 took on a staff team in the cold and wind on the 3G pitches above Everton Park Sports Centre.

Duke of Edinburgh

DOE2016A group of Year 10 students completed their Duke of Edinburgh expedition on the week-end of the 12th and 13th November 2016.  The students did really well walking and camping in some very muddy conditions. They all passed the expedition section of the Bronze Award.
Two students, Charlie and Keiran have now completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Bronze. Some of the other students will complete soon.
