Year 9 DoEAs the summer term begins the students on the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme prepare for their expeditions. Year 9 students spent an overnight in preparation for their Bronze assessment over the week end of 13th/14th May 2017.

Charity FootballThree separate football matches took place on Wednesday 21st December between staff and students to boost the funds for our Christmas charities. Boys in Years 9, 10 and 11 took on a staff team in the cold and wind on the 3G pitches above Everton Park Sports Centre.

Restart a Heart

Restart a Heart DayToday, Tuesday 18th October 2016, is Restart a Heart Day. This is a national event taking place throughout the country where students are trained in CPR. Trainers from the North West Ambulance Service (Andy), St John’s Ambulance (Sue) and British Red Cross (Carmel) have seen over 200 hundred students from Years 9 and Sixth Form trained during the day.

Prizegiving

Prize giving 2016Students received their end of year report this morning, Thursday 21st July, in special assemblies led by their Heads of Year. Mr Rannard, Acting Headteacher, attended all of the assemblies and presented each form teacher with the reports for their form groups.

Each assembly included a review of the past year and a short performance by members of that year group.
