Words Open Minds – Open Doors

Regular monitoring and moderation of student work is half-termly and takes place during departmental meetings. This is to ensure that data and the assessment of student work is accurate, using the new Assessment Focuses in Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening.

We have a close relationship with Liverpool Hope University and Edge Hill University, taking two PGCE students each academic year. We have also provided second placements for students on the Graduate Trainee Programme.
