ParentsOrangeBandAt Notre Dame Catholic College we believe that the partnership for learning which must exist between the college and parents has never been so important as it is today, given the nature
of society and the pressure of modern living. In recognition of this partnership, we offer this Parents’ Charter as a way of guiding all of us in our work in education.

Co-operation between home and college is vital if we are to achieve success for and with your child.
Inspired by the spirit of St Julie and guided by the Sisters of Notre Dame, the staff of Notre Dame Catholic College seek to work in partnership with parents in order to enable our students to reach their full potential and thus contribute responsibly to society.

All parents can expect:

*  the highest levels of teaching and commitment from all staff at the college; frequent information updates on their daughter’s/son’s performance
in every area of college life
*  access to senior staff to discuss matters relating to their daughter’s/son’s education within five working days of such a request
*  full participation in the monitoring of their daughter’s/son’s work via parental support meetings
*  homework planners and assessment records
*  opportunities to be involved fully in the life of the college via communication on college events
*  participation in the college’s Governing Body when vacancies arise.
