Level 3 qualifications

Students are expected to study the equivalent of four A Levels in Year 12 and three in Year 13. This can be A Levels, Level 3 OCRs and BTECs or a combination of both.
Students who do not achieve a grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics at Level 2 will continue with their learning and resit the examinations during their time at sixth form.

Vocational studies

At Notre Dame Catholic College we cater for students of all abilities. If you are not ready for Level 3 qualifications you may choose to apply for a Level 2 Pre Apprenticeship programme in preparation for undertaking the Level 3 Apprenticeship the following year. There are numerous courses available including Hair, Beauty, Catering, Floristry, Leisure and Hospitality and working with the elderly and with children to name but a few.
