British Science Week

All year 7 pupils had a fantastic trip to the University of Liverpool on Friday 17th March 2017. Young Scientists

Two young scientists from Year 11, Amarra and Christina travelled to Birmingham on Tuesday 14th March 2017 to take part in the Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair. This is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for young people in the UK. Manchester Actors

Year 10 students were able to watch an abridged performance of ‘An Inspector Calls’ this morning, Thursday the 9th March, performed by Adam, Cat, Gavin and Nathan from the Manchester Actors Company. At the end the students were able to question the actors interpretation of the novel by J B Priestley.  

Arts Café

The Drama Department held an Arts Café on the evening of the 8th March 2017. Students from Key Stage Four and Five performed scenes from work they will be putting forward for their GCSE and BTEC level 3 courses due to be completed this year.    

Lloyds Bank Visit

As part of their sixth form enrichment programme our Year 12 students have been participating in a series of careers and employability days.
